THE SUFFERING HUMANITY DEDICATED TO PENURIOUS DEPRESSED SOCIETY WHERE GOD ACTUALY HABITS
Since the dawn of civilization the human society is divided in to two sections. One is “Haves” and other is “Have nots” the first one is further divided in to Aristocracy and Middle class.
“Have nots” is most oppressed section since the time immemorial. Any form of government may be in-power but could not do in spite of their best efforts much, and they remain oppressed, leading a life just for the sake of living no cloths, No food and no medical care.
When the “Lord Jesus Christ” was crucified, the blood drained from his wounds, when touched Lepers their agony was vanished immediately.
Likewise in every era there emerged a person who was symbolized as “Propagator of Good” who took up their cause. There were people who joined and became organizations and started working for their cause. Tradition is still prevalent and many societies are working in same line.
One such N.G.O. known as “Jamuna Sewa Sanstha” is very active for the cause of down trodden. It passed a resolution affiliating “Jamuna Sewa Sadan & Research Centre” & making its head Dr. A. K Tandon their vice chairman & spouse Dr.Smita Tandon as the treasurer of the N.G.O. and authorized the couple to propagate the objectives of the N.G.O and generate sources to cater the medical need of poor section of the society also create such sources which can make themselves self sufficient, like arranging nursing school, so that after taking nursing training, they can take up the employment in the hospitals & make themselves able to support their families.
The Doctor Couple took their responsibilities to their heart, and appealed to almost all the societies, clubs and people in general to come together, to work together and uplift the “Penurious Depressed Society” where the God actually inhabits.
The call was enthusiastically met and the different organization Khatri Hitkarini Sabha, Lions club international, Rotary Club international and many others joined hands with Dr A. K. Tandon and Dr. Smita Tandon in their fight for the noble cause.
Aims, objectives and cause were clear. ‘Jamuna Sewa Sadan & Research Centre’ was fully devoted to the cause of oppressed.
Under the Banner of “Flag ship” N.G.O. “Jamuna Sewa Sanstha” its entire team was marching ahead.
Orphanages were visited and found the kids crying, the tears on their cheeks were making their story conspicuous. Polio drops were administered and tears from their cheeks were wiped. The Dr. Couple’s job was tough, at the same time satisfaction and peace giving to the mind.
Dr. A.K.Tandon took his Medicines Doctorate degree in the year1992. The young lad saw the God not in the stone statue of deity in the temple but in the teeming millions suffering from the want of medical care. There were two questions before him 1st to support his family & establish himself in his professional qualification, 2nd to severe tearful God in term of suffering humanity. A thought took in his mind that “Service to humanity is service to God” & better way of serving & worshiping of God and this is how Tuesday became a day of his free OPD. Firstly on his bicycle and then on his scoter he went door to door & village to village to take care of poor section of society & there emerged a men with a mission to eradicate the want of medical care from the poor section of society.
